Missing a bit of unit 3 aos 2 --> biological, sociocultural and environmental factors that contribute to variations in health status between population groups
the contribution to Australia’s health status of: smoking and vaping, alcohol, overweight and obesity, nutritional imbalance (under-consumption of fruit and vegetables, and dairy foods; high intake of fat,
salt and sugar; low intake of fibre).
Thank you so much for your feedback — we’re really sorry if this caused any confusion. Just to clarify, the topics you mentioned:
- Variations in health status between population groups, and
- Factors affecting health status (e.g. smoking, nutrition, etc.)
are actually part of Unit 3 AOS 1, not Unit 3 AOS 2, according to the official VCAA HHD study design. You’ll find the notes for these on page one of the Unit 3 section.
Rest assured, all areas of the study design are summarised in these notes. We really appreciate you pointing this out, and apologies again if that wasn’t clear!
